JONATHAN KNIGHT

Jonathan Knight is the latest addition to the Lulus lineup. Three times nominated for a Maple Blues Award including a 2015 nomination for “Male Vocalist of the Year”, his uniquely powerful voice and talent as a singer and dynamic performer has been recognized both local and nationally.

Jon has performed as part of some of the country’s largest music festivals with his original band “Jon Knight and Soulstack”, most notably festival de jazz de Montreal, Tremblant and the Kitchener Blues Festival. His two albums “Big Red” and “Five Finger Discount have charted at #2 and #3 nationally for Blues and Roots music and are often heard on Galaxie as well as on a variety of commercial radio programs.

Jon is a prolific songwriter and producer, currently working on his soon-to-be-released third album. Certainly no stranger to the guitar, his love of vintage guitars and amplifiers along with his soulful guitar style and pursuit of tone has been a most welcome addition to the Lulu’s lineup.

Jon’s powerful and high vocals have inspired The Lulus Band to learn and perform songs that most bands would never attempt.  Welcome Jonathan Knight!
